Expeditionary Learning, or E.L. is a program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Mountain Shadows Middle School. It is designed to provide a powerful learning environment through the use of integrated thematic study units, reinforced by expeditions and hands-on projects.
Last month, we traveled to Monterey Bay. We visited The San Jose Tech Museum of Innovation, The Monterey Bay Aquarium, The Monterey Maritime Museum, and Natural Bridges State Beach.
